Introduction
Aubrey Drake Graham, also known professionally as Drake, is a Canadian rapper, singer, and songwriter. However, since then, Drake has been one of the most significant contemporary musicians.
Early Life and Family
Drake was born on the 24th of October in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. His dad, Dennis Graham, was a drummer and his mom Sandi Graham, was an instructor. Drake is a mix of African American (father) and Jewish-Canadian (mother). He has always accepted that he is both. His parents split when he was five, and he grew up in the Forest Hill neighborhood of Toronto with his mother.

Drake first appeared as an actor in the Canadian teen drama Degrassi: The Next Generation. He was cast as Jimmy Brooks, a basketball star who uses a wheelchair after being shot. He has also won multiple Billboard Music Awards over the years, which includes taking home the Artist of the Decade title in 2021. With a No 40 debut, he boasts the most top 10 titles on the Hot 100 list above The Beatles as well.

Drake has always had an interest in the public. He and Rihanna share a romantic history, as well as Jennifer Lopez. But his most famous relationship is with French artist and former adult film star Sophie Brussaux. Drake acknowledged his son for the first time in 2018, admitting to fathering Adonis with Brussaux. While he had kept a lid on his child at first, he later published photos and snippets of what his son’s life is like in interviews and online.
The rapper has been open about how fatherhood has affected him. He’s shared that with all the co-parenting frustrations he still wants to be an involved father. Drake gives fans a glimpse into his relationship with Adonis.

Through 2024, Drake is still the music industry kingpin. In 2023 he released his newest album For All The Dogs. While the album received mixed reviews it became a number one hit. Drake’s voice: I am taking a break from music to focus on my family and my health. He said that he has been battling a stomach issue and wants to get the latter under control before hitting music back.
Earlier in 2024, Drake wrapped his It’s All a Blur tour tied for the highest-grossing tour of 2024. The tour saw him performing his many hits, to sold-out arenas in North America. Even though he is sitting out for now, Drake continues to be one of the biggest pop culture personalities around.

In short, Drake is a phenomenon far beyond music. He also has his hands in the fashion, film production, and business industries.
