The Artist: Dale Chihuly
Dale Chihuly was born in 1941 in Tacoma, Washington, and he made an impact on the world of glass art sometime during the sixties. He spent time at the University of Washington, and It was his first experience with glass. His glassblowing artists’ incubation, Pilchuck Glass School in Washington, opened its doors in 1971.
